I Clivi Wines: A New Arrival in Our Collection!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of I Clivi wines to our store! This celebrated Friuli-based winery is known for producing unique, expressive wines that reflect the rich terroir of northeastern Italy. Their commitment to organic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar results in elegant, terroir-driven wines. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or looking to expand your palate, these wines are sure to leave a lasting impression.

Friulano "San Pietro"

The Friulano grape, a hallmark of the Friuli region, is known for producing wines with complex aromas and flavors. The Friulano "San Pietro" from I Clivi is no exception. This wine offers a wonderful bouquet of almond, wildflowers, and citrus zest, with an undercurrent of minerality. The palate is fresh and structured, making it an excellent choice for pairing with seafood, light pasta dishes, or even a cheese platter.

Friulano "San Lorenzo"

Another exceptional wine from I Clivi, the Friulano "San Lorenzo", hails from the prestigious San Lorenzo vineyard. The wine exudes a floral nose with notes of white peaches and a touch of honey. Its richness on the palate, balanced with crisp acidity, makes it versatile with a variety of dishes, from grilled fish to roasted vegetables. This wine beautifully captures the essence of the Friuli terroir.

Schioppettino

The Schioppettino grape is one of Friuli’s best-kept secrets, and I Clivi’s take on this native variety is a revelation. Known for its spicy character, the wine presents aromas of black pepper, dark berries, and herbs. The palate is vibrant with fine tannins and a long finish. It's a perfect pairing for game meats, grilled lamb, or aged cheeses.

These I Clivi wines showcase the beauty and diversity of Friuli’s vineyards. Whether you’re enjoying the floral elegance of the Friulano wines or the spicy complexity of the Schioppettino, these bottles are perfect for any occasion.

Stop by our store to pick up a bottle (or three!) and let us know which one is your favourite!
