What's being poured
Bodegas y Viñedos Ponce S.L
P.F. Bobal Old Vines Almansa 2014 (Jumilla, Spain)
Even though Bobal is one of the most widely-planted grapes in Spain, it is under-recognized on the world stage. Remedy that with this 100% Bobal - super fruity, with vibrant acidity and a velvety texture, aged 11 months in French oak barrels, unclarified and unfiltered, and made with local yeast. Only 10,000 bottles were produced worldwide! A rare opportunity to taste and learn why Bobal is much-loved by the Spanish.
Bodegas y Viñedos Ponce S.L Depaula Monastrell 2015 (Jumilla, Spain)
Aged for 7 months in French oak, this Spanish beaut is made from the Monastrell grape. It's fresh, it's enjoyable - you've got to taste it!
Tardencuba Ramon Ramos en Barro (Toro, Spain)
This wine is made from old vineyards of Tinta de Toro (what Tempranillo is known as in Toro) and Grenache. They then use a clay amphora to ferment and ripen this wine, which doesn’t get filtered before bottling! Fresh and fruity with a touch of minerality.
