November Ale-berta feature: Blindman Brewing

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

In our newest monthly feature, we pick a different Alberta brewery that we carry in-store to highlight their incredible brews being made close to home!

Our November Ale-berta feature is Blindman Brewing, who also recently won Brewery of the Year and Best in Show at the Alberta Brewery Awards. Located in Lacombe and founded in 2015, Blindman was one of the OGs of the craft beer boom in Alberta. Their vision is to create innovative, quality, and flavourful craft beer using the best ingredients and local ingredients. It’s important to Blindman to support the places they live in and the people that live here.

Named after the river that flows through Lacombe, Blindman offers a wide selection of mainstay beers to one-off seasonals and special releases, thanks to their foeder system at their brewery which is unique in Alberta. These are the beers we currently carry from Blindman in-store at City Cellars, and we also usually get in their special releases and seasonal sours as well.

Dry Hopped Kettle Sour

Finally perfected and in new digs after years of testing and trials. A tart, dry wheat beer with hints of tropical fruit and hops

Long Shadows IPA
